Getting to Venice

How can I reach Venice from the property?
The easiest option is the Maerne di Martellago train station, only 3 minutes by car from the property, with free parking nearby.
From there, the Bassano del Grappa line takes you to Venice Santa Lucia in 20 minutes.
You can also catch bus number 7 from Spinea, or drive into the city in about 25 minutes.

Where can I park the car if I want to visit Venice?
Several free options are available:
- The car park at the Maerne di Martellago train station
- Piazza Marconi in Spinea, right next to the bus stop
- The free Tronchetto car park in Venice
If you prefer to drive directly into Venice, Piazzale Roma offers several paid car parks.

Where is the property located exactly?
The address to enter into Google Maps is: Via Zigaraga 10, Maerne di Martellago (VE).
A quick heads up: the street crosses several local councils (Spinea, Salzano), so if you type the address without specifying Maerne di Martellago, you may end up at the wrong house.

Are there shops, supermarkets and restaurants near the accommodation?
Yes. In Via della Costituzione in Spinea, about 4 minutes away by car, you will find Lidl, Coop and Eurospin.
For lunch or dinner, all within 5 to 10 minutes by car, we recommend:
- Payer Microsteria (Spinea), seafood and traditional Venetian cicchetti
- 19 al Paradiso (Via Luneo, Spinea), mostly pizza, plus meat and fish dishes
- Pintafonica (Maerne di Martellago), burgers, sandwiches, pizza and meat dishes
